We have assembled a select group of researchers from internationally renowned Brazilian higher education institutions, with the goal of conducting cutting-edge research in the field of quantum computing and related areas.

QuaTI was conceived by a team of researchers affiliated with internationally renowned Brazilian universities, each with profound knowledge and experience in the field of quantum computing. With a range of specialized knowledge, including quantum physics, quantum optics, quantum machine learning, and quantum optimization, the team is equipped to provide expert consultancy and training in quantum technologies.

Meet our Team

Marcos is a Full Professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). A physicist with a strong academic background and over two decades of experience in research, teaching, and outreach in the field of quantum computing and quantum information, he co-founded QuaTI and his research focuses on quantum optics, entanglement of states in continuous variables, and fundamental aspects of quantum information theory.

Marcos César de Oliveira

Gustavo holds a PhD and postdoctoral degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (USP), having always worked on problems related to quantum computing and quantum information. He co-founded QuaTI and his current work focuses on combinatorial optimization problems using quantum computing in real-world use cases.

Luiz Gustavo Esmenard Arruda

Felipe is an Associate Professor and researcher at São Paulo State University (UNESP). He co-founded QuaTI and his current research is focused on the study of dynamics in open quantum systems, quantum information protection, and the use of classical and quantum machine learning in the study of physical systems. He has more than two decades of research experience in the fields of quantum computing and quantum information.

Felipe Fernandes Fanchini

Jogi works as a Data Scientist at the CK-12 Foundation, based in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, where he conducts applied research in Artificial Intelligence for Education. A co-founder of QuaTI, he currently works with language models. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a master's degree in Quantum Computing, both from São Paulo State University (UNESP). In his research line, he studies how quantum machine learning models can be used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases through voice analysis.
